Oh, I meant to blog during our Disney vacation, but if you follow me on Twitter (@Reedster2), you’ll know that I spent the last two days holed up in the Celebration, Florida, hospital. Where there are NO CHARACTER VISITS, people.
Don’t worry, “Hogwarts, A History” and “A Tale of Two Disneys” posts are coming down the pipe this week, as I recover from heat exhaustion, dehydration, and a stomach virus.
But don’t cry for me. Cry for my husband, who took the girls to the parks solo.
So glad you’re home and back at the keyboard!
Oh that’s funny-don’t cry for me, cry for my husband. Are you in protective custody now so he won’t harm you?
I owe him big. If we hadn’t spent every last cent on snacks at Disney, I’d get him a new Play Station.
Yikes! I can’t imagine being on my own at Disney. Hope you’re feeling better soon. Can’t wait to read your upcoming posts. I’m planning a Dec trip to Disney. Any suggestions (other than avoid Celebration Hospital!)?
You should have good weather at least, but more crowds. Buy the rain ponchos.
Not even Patch Adams? Very disappointing. I’m glad you’re better and home safe…and how sad not to get to stand in line all day! I hope he had some help from those characters who refused to visit you. Sheesh!
I swear I was just practically crying for you (your hubby) every time I saw a Twitter update from you. I am so glad you are back home and recovering! Nothing will say “Most Magical Place on Earth” like a hospital bill on top of the Disney bill!
Reedster! You’ve been on my mind a ton. I feel like I should send a cooke bouquet. To Matt. Honestly, though, so glad you’re on the mend.
Holy wow! Not the way to spend your time at the happiest place on earth. Yikes! Though, come to think of if, my mom did have to take the tram back to the hotel with me after I came down with a yummy bug in Epcot Center once. Yes, puking in a garbage can in fake France is the perfect way to do Disney when you’re 14. Glad you’re feeling better!
Welcome back. Looking forward to seeing your posts again.
